100 times stronger than chlorine bleach
Hypochlorous acid is not only highly effective, but also around 100 times stronger than chlorine bleach, without its harmful side effects. HOCl works by creating a hypoosmotic environment that destroys bacteria and viruses by exerting pressure on their cell walls. This mechanism causes the germ cells to fill with water until they burst - a process that leaves no residue and is 100% biodegradable. This means that HOCl leaves behind nothing but water and salt after decomposition, absolutely harmless to humans and nature. It also contains no flammable or “volatile substances”, which minimizes skin irritation and other side effects.
